The Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) is a global programme established in 2010 to support developing countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America design and deliver climate compatible development. CDKN’s mission is to improve the lives of people most affected by climate change; combining knowledge, research and technical advisory services in support of locally-owned and managed processes. The programme is managed by a Southern-led network of partners, including SouthSouthNorth (SSN) in South Africa, Fundación Futuro Latinoamericano (FFLA) in Ecuador, ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, South Asia in India, and the Overseas Development Institute in the United Kingdom.
